Wave comes from Hosto, a hosting and cloud company. Running infrastructure for businesses every day, we kept seeing the same problem: teams that wanted to run their business on WhatsApp had two bad options.
On one side sat the classic BSPs: clunky dashboards, slow onboarding, and a quiet markup on every single message you send. Your costs scaled with your success, and the bill was never quite what you expected.
On the other side was doing it yourself: wiring up the WhatsApp Cloud API, hosting it, patching it, and babysitting webhooks at 2 a.m. Powerful, but a full-time job nobody asked for.
We built Wave to close that gap. It is the full WhatsApp Business suite, shipped as a clean product: shared inbox, campaigns, templates, automation and analytics, all on your own number. Meta bills you directly at cost, and we charge one flat, transparent platform fee. That is the whole model.
